Located along the Ottawa River in Vaudreuil-Dorion, the site was experiencing erosion due to inefficient landscaping for stabilization.

As part of its mandate, Opaysage recommended works to enhance safety factors associated with the slope. To harmonize the stabilization and renaturalization efforts with the environment, we proposed a solution based on greening techniques aligned with the site's structural constraints. This included shrub planting, native tree planting, and differentiated management of the initially grassy surface on the slope through seeding with indigenous stabilizing plants.

These three layers are essential for reconstructing a habitat for local wildlife and facilitate the restoration of a natural environment rich in biodiversity.
